Kris Veenis

Co-producer Kris Veenis graduated from St. Vincent College in Latrobe Pennsylvania in 2003 with a degree in Communication, concentrating in Media Studies and Graphic Design. He has also studied filmmaking at Pittsburgh Filmmakers. He began work as an intern with the Pittsburgh-based production company 1905 Productions in 2006, eventually serving as post-production coordinator on the documentary "My Tale of Two Cities." Kris also serves as production manager with Steeltown Entertainment Project and works as a media arts instructor for Steeltown's Youth and Media Initiative, a program designed to teach media literacy and film production skills to inner city and under-served youth. He has collaborated for the past two years with Attack Theatre, a Pittsburgh-based national dance company, documenting and editing their public performances. Kris has also collaborated with Pittsburgh-based actor Joe Coyle, serving as director of photography and editor on four short narrative film projects produced and directed by Coyle.
